Nicola Ostle06/10/2025As a parent of a child with complex needs I’ve found Manisha to be very supportive, helpful, knowledgeable and understanding on some of the difficulties my son and I face on a daily basis. She has had weekly visits supporting him within his education setting and at some sessions at home. She has made resources to use within the home, advised educational staff with knowledge and training, and been involved with other therapists, support workers and myself! Her service is invaluable in making my son’s life and ours easier and more manageable. My son feels at ease working with her which is something that doesn’t come easy but she ‘gets him’. Karen Clingan22/08/2024I cannot recommend My Therapy Services, and Sheetal in particular highly enough! We engaged them to assess and support our teenage son who was struggling at school as he neared his GCSEs. Sheetal assessed him with care, kindness and professionalism. After receiving the detailed, informative and enlightening report, we proceeded to have one to one therapy sessions for him, which were carried out at school. The impact of this has been transformative for my son - he credits Sheetal with the improvements we have seen in his grades - which have been reinforced by the results he received today which are substantially better than those he was getting only a year ago. The report and diagnosis we received from My Therapy Services has enabled us to ensure that exam access arrangements could be put in place for mocks and GCSEs and also informed my discussions with the school. I would strongly recommend any parent with a child who feels "not quite the same" as others or that their "brain works differently" to consider OT support - specifically from My Therapy Services. At this point it feels like the key that is unlocking my son's future - it could do the same for your child too.Posted on Google

Nichola Packington19/02/2024Working with Sheetal has been amazing throughout, from our son’s first assessment to each therapy session, her extensive knowledge and expertise have already began to make such a huge impact on our daily lives. With each session Sheetal’s enthusiasm and positivity towards our son and his progress has been such a comfort to us as parents. Sheetal continues to support us as a family to help him reach his full potiental , we cannot thank her enough for all that she has done so far, she is a real pleasure to work with. She took to time to not only do a thorough assessment, but also to listen to what we were looking to achieve (our main goal was to retain independence wherever possible). Manisha took to time to explain everything thoroughly and ensure we understood not only the changes needed but also why they were necessary and how they would improve quality of life. Sara Vaenti22/07/2023We contacted Manisha to have an assessment for my nephew. The first impression was honestly amazing, she is extremely kind, caring and most importantly very well prepared. She is extremely professional and she is now following my nephew on a regular basis. She participate in school meeting too, there is a great collaboration with teacher and speech and language therapist. My nephew did amazing improvement and we can always reach out for advice and direction. She is definitely loved by him, thr therapy is not a burden or a "hated task" for him. With beautiful transformations time and time again. Each just right for each individual client. It’s never a one size fits all approach. Colin Bowles08/07/2022I employed Manisha as an OT for about a year, from late 2020 to late 2021. She helped me in a number of ways during this time, with: • basic mobility, eg going up the stairs, turning over in bed • getting in and out the car • cooking and preparing food in the kitchen • making a scrapbook of milestones in my life which later turned into a memoir I found her to be encouraging and supportive throughout this period and would recommend her to anyone else facing the sort of post-illness issues that I did. Mark Morton19/06/2022Manisha supported the occupational therapy team at Portland College for a few months due to the team needing an experienced OT. We were very grateful for the support Manisha gave the team and benefitted from her experience. Manisha supported several of out learners who have complex needs with OT interventions such as sensory support, fine motor skills support and adapted equipment.
